Electric drives are divided into two types according to design:
- standard; compact
The design distinction is in that a body of compact electric drives is located parallel to the driving cables. Due to this fact in many cases the compact electric drives are more easily installed in the door lining\paneling or into the luggage rack lining. The SPEZO electric drives can consist of one or two reducing modules. Therefore, the dimensions of the drives also vary according to the number of reducing modules.
The SPEZO electric drives can be produced with a different number of driving cables (a driving cable is a part of mechanism which actuates the curtain):
- 1 driving cable;
- 2 driving cables;
- 4 driving cables.
The number of driving cables depends on the purpose of an electric drive. Electric drives with 2 and 4 driving cables can be of two types:
- One-speed: linear speed of travel of all driving cables is equal. This way upper and lower parts of a curtain travel at an equal speed.
- Two-speed: in this case one half of the driving cables travel at one speed and the rest travel at a rather lower speed. This way one part of a curtain travels a bit slower than the other (usually the upper part travels slower).
